Angels will fall

Yesterday I took my last image on my Fujifilm Xt4 This camera has been a vital part of who I am as an artist shaping how I view the world through a lens. I was gifted this camera in August of 2021 in my senior year of high school as an early graduation gift. I was unsure what I was going to be doing with my life and unsure where my future was going to go. This camera made me fall in love with photography and allowed for me to go to school for it at the University of Arizona. It shaped who I am as a photographer and storyteller. Giving me the voice to tell the stories of artists, friends, family, and myself. This camera has gone through a lot and survived many things it shouldn’t have whether that be getting kicked during a concert or getting constantly hit by skateboards. It traveled across the country and was able to tell the stories of people I’ve met. This camera did more than just tell stories it created bonds and memories with people . I met some of my closest friends through photography and some were even clients that turned into my best friends. This camera created bonds and allowing for me to tell stories of people in my life and my story as I walk the earth understanding my connection as a photographer and an artist. Sadly yesterday as I turned 21 my camera stopped turning on. The camera survived almost 4 years of abuse from me which is truly incredible. It was a sad day because this camera was truly a part of who I am and I will miss it. But I will never forget all the memories and stories I was able to document through that camera. It will always have a place in my heart. I now am going into my senior year of college not knowing what may be next again. The cycle repeats as I try to understand. #myfujifilmlegacy #fujifilm #fujifilmxt4
